Every World Cup poster from Uruguay in 1930 to Brazil in 2014 redesigned by an extra-special American graphic artist, by Stuart Messham
It’s official, we have a new hero: New York-based scribbler by the name of James Taylor. Why? Because the World Cup is officially our favourite thing on the planet and James has taken all the original posters issued to each event and redesigned them in his own unique vision. And we very much approve.
“Every World Cup has its own particular feel, which I’ve tried to suggest with each design” explains the main man, “while obviously evoking the period graphically… and hopefully improving on some of the originals!”
We want the lot as the wallpaper in our new office.
Cheers James, keep up the good work, and enjoy the tournament everyone.
